E-governance or Electronic governance is very much essential for any kind of organization. The ?electronic? component is provided by a combination of computers and communications networks. The basic of E-governance is the combination of hardware and software. It has become must in most of the countries which are on the top of information technology. In Bangladesh, it is getting popular day by day. E-governance has been introduced only in private organization. It has not been introduced in public sectors yet. Still we have non electronic governance there. So we decided to inspect the present status of E-governance in both private and public sectors. We also try to show the importance of implementing E-governance in public sectors through a research. Now we are presenting all our findings and analyses here in this report.

In chapter 1 we have introduced the topic of our research. First we have given some background information about the topic. Then we discussed the purpose of this report followed by a detailed presentation of the research methodology we used, which includes information about the sample, questionnaire, interview and limitations of our research. The findings of the survey have been placed at the beginning of chapter 2. In chapter 2, next we have analyzed all the findings from the survey. And we finished chapter 2?s analyses part by supporting our analyses through the views we gathered from interviewing. We interviewed people of four criteria: computer administrator of a private and a public bank, students of private university and public university as a part of our case studies. In chapter 3 we placed the conclusion and then follow our recommendations in the final chapter, i.e., chapter 4.

The overall objective and mission of our research was to find out the comparison of use of E-governance in both sectors and effects of using E-governance in private sectors. Some of our key findings about factors that are affect E- governance, the advantages of using E-governance, the importance of installing it in public sectors.
